My NEW Car

This is a picture of my new car!! You may be saying, "but you've had that for a couple years now." I have, but I am proud to say that it is all mine now. I just wrote a big check to pay it off and can now consider it officially part of one of my possessions. I have been looking forward to getting this paid off and reaching one of my new year's resolutions of being debt free. I have finally achieved it and haven't felt so free and happy in a long time. I love it and it almost feels like a new car. Anyway, just thought I would share my glad news and proud moment.

congrats I paid mine off for a Christmas present to myself and I love that I don't owe anybody for it. It's a great feeling! I share fully in your joy!

That does feel great. I can't wait until I can say the same.

Good for you! We "own" our nasty old honda. That's the only thing keeping us from abandoning it on the side of the road.

Bethany! Of course I remember you. It's so fun to reconnect. You were always a stalwart attendee to our movie marathons, and Jennie and I appreciated your support! :) You look fantastic, and I'm so happy for you and your cute family!

Congrats! I can't wait until our tax return because we are going to pay off our car and finally own it!

isn't that a good feeling?! We actually just paid off my student loan and I felt that relief too. It's the best to be debt free- i guess minus our house! :)

Just wanted to say well done! Just look out, you never know what is going to happen once that last payment is made -- I like this ad concerning car payments youtube.com/watch?v=UqhqrqyVO6Q
We love owning all our cars but recently have had a string of problems. One won't start at all, one has bad brakes and needs the suspension replaced, and another has no A/C starting into the summertime weather with a check engine light and airbag warning light that all started flashing recently. Oh well, we just weren't meant to have great luck with cars.
